Preschool

Mylee (my BABY) started preschool on Monday. She is so happy to be going to school like the other kids. I tried to get her to stay home with me but she said she wanted to go to school with Devvin her cousin. We will see if her teacher can handle them together. I could not believe that was her getting off the school bus. She loved every minute of her first day.

An Afternoon Drive

We decided to take an afternoon drive to the Dragoon Mountains near our home and found that the creeks were running.
We stopped at a creek and tried to see who could get across on the rocks without getting wet.

It didn't take long for shoes to get wet, so we took them off and began to wade around in the water for a while.
Everything was going fine, but I just could not get used to the peace and quiet, so I started a water fight that I wasn't able to finish.
I think, technically the kids lost the water fight, but they didn't seem to mind so much.

Mylee

With the older two at school Mylee has all the attention on her. She doesn't even have to take turns riding on the tractor.

Back to School, Back to School...

Makay started 3rd grade. WOW!!!

He doesn't think I need to walk him to class on the first day anymore, but I informed him I will follow him to his first day of school all the way through College.

Madison is in Mrs. J Judd's 2nd grade class this year. She had been counting down the days and had her first weeks worth of outfits picked out.

Madison is still okay with me following her around to take pictures.

Mylee doesn't start preschool until the 18th, but she was still so excited to dance around the hallways while dropping off her big brother and sister.

Awesome Helpers!

The kids are growing up fast. They love to jump in and help with all the jobs that used to be for "when you're a little older." Now they're Big Stuff!Madison is the first to jump in and help with all the kitchen chores. She has even started to help cook. This has been a little hard for me because I still see her as my little girl.

Makay is excited to help with anything that involves using equipment. He told Anthony that he wants to learn how to do all the yard work so he can go make some money.

Mylee is not happy just cleaning her room and dusting anymore. She thinks she is big enough to clean the bathrooms also. When we divided up the chores, Mylee said, "I haven't had the bathrooms for years. I can do it by myself." If anyone has any tricks on how to get this to last, let me know.

Back to School SHOPPING!

Everyone loves shopping right? Well my kids think it is great when we are looking for their clothes, but when it's time to look for clothes for the other kids it's not fun anymore.

Makay tries to find fun anywhere he can. The boy really makes me laugh.

Look at my angels. You never would have guessed that just 2 seconds earlier they were fighting over who got to sit where.

This is Jordan (Cathy's boy) being the entertainer that he is. This kid is just funny.

Jordan, Madison, Mylee, Dallin and Makay all taking a break from the stress of Mall shopping. I think they took every penny, nickel and dime Anthony had to throw in the pool behind them.

Mylee thinks that if she is cute she can't get into trouble.

Now together they are TROUBLE. We were supposed to be helping Makay look for his clothes.

Pioneer Day

Uncle Bryce and Aunt Jenny let Tryston and Taylor come to hang out with us for a few days and enjoy some small town fun for the 24th of July Parade. BACK: Makay, Sarah, Tryston, Anthony. Front: Mylee, Madison, Taylor.

Taylor and Madison are waiting patiently for the parade to begin and hope to catch lots of candy.

Cathy and Jarred's boy, Jordan, is still trying to convince us that Utah is better than Arizona.

There was lots of fun games but the pigs were the highlight for Taylor.
