Happy Birthday!!!

The 21st was Kellen's 1st birthday (my brother Jeremy's boy) and the 23rd was Makay's 9th.
So we had one big party!

We are by the Christmas tree, but Makay is opening his birthday present. This might be why the girls don't fair and keep begging to open just ONE present from under the tree.

Thank you everyone for all the great gifts.

Christmas Party

Tonight was our ward Christmas party. There was food , treats, entertainment and best of all SANTA !

We thought all the Christmas shopping was done until we heard what the kids asked Santa for. They do this every year and switch up what they want at the last minute. So next year we will be shopping on Christmas Eve.

Keith is Home!!

We spent the week of Thanksgiving with the Mesa family. We had lots of fun with the cousins and had lots of great food thanks to Grandma Weitz, but the highlight of the week was when Uncle Keith came home from his mission.
These two were trying to play it cool but they were sooooo excited!

The line for hugs was never ending. We are all happy to have Keith home.

The End is Near

We have one more week of soccer. The girls got their pictures a couple of weeks ago, but Makay just got his Saturday so now we are putting them up for all to see.

Can you tell Makay's picture was taken right after one of his games?

Happy Halloween

Play dress up and get lots of candy. No wonder Halloween is one of our favorite Holidays.

Anthony told the kids to make scary faces. I think they are a little too good at it.

We go trick or treating with the cousins every year. Some are missing in the picture. Here we have Mylee (fairy princess), Westin (Yoda), Makay (hunter), Jordan (Darth Vader), Dallin (Anakin Skywalker) and Madison (fairy princess). Do you notice a theme for Cathy's family? Star Wars is all the boys think about.

Madison couldn't go to school in her costume so she dressed up twice.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MYLEE!

Mylee turned 5 Wednesday. We had soccer games so we had her party on Friday with the cousins. Mylee said she wanted a Halloween dress up party so they all wore their costumes. Westin is going to be YODA for Halloween. He just wore his ears for the birthday party.

Mylee and her birthday cake.

Mylee and her birthday cupcake. We had to do something on her actual birthday.

She loves being the center of attention.

Kellen (Jeremy's boy) wasn't really sure what to think of everyone.

I'm not sure, but I think she is singing to herself.
It really was a fun party. Thank you everyone for the great gifts and for being there for Mylee. She loves you all.

Family Outing to the Pumpkin Patch

While visiting family in the Mesa area, we decided to go to Vertuccio Farms.
The cousins were able to run around and enjoy playing with each other.

The corn maze was a little too long for Mylee to handle. Actually she talked Anthony into a piggy-back-ride before we even entered the maze.
We even convinced Uncle Joel to spend the day with us. I don't know if he will admit enjoying himself or not, but I was nice to spend time with him.

Anybody who knows Taylor knows that she likes to do pretty much everything by herself. So I will be Jenny's witness that Taylor really did beg her to ride with her and this was not just due to Jenny's love of little-kiddy-rides.

We Love Lyse!!

We spent the week in Mesa visiting our "Mesa Family." The kids love their Aunt Elyse but the girl is busy busy. She is going to ASU , working and is on some young adult committee so we caught glimpses of her as she was coming and going. We had to snag her on her way to school one morning to get a picture of her with the kids.

Trash Talk

Anthony and I were in the front room today and I called to the kids in their rooms and told them that they needed to clean their rooms before they could go to practice. Mylee asked from her room, "Who has soccer practice?" I told her that it was Makay and Madison's turn to practice because she had practice yesterday. Anthony then told Mylee that she did an awesome job in her practice yesterday, but told her it looked like she was doing some trash talking. He asked her "Were you trash talking the other little girl on your team." Mylee then responded, "Of course I was. Why wouldn't I do that?" I called her into the front room to make sure she understood what she had been asked. I asked her what she had said to the other girl when they were practicing scoring goals on each other. She said, "I told her, ha ha, I scored a goal on you, but you didn't score a goal on me."
We have really been trying to help her be more aggressive and competitive out on the field because she spent most of the first game watching her teammates play the game. I think we are just going to focus on sportsmanship this year.

If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen!

I was in my bedroom one afternoon when I heard a calm manly yelp coming from the kitchen. I ran in and found Anthony jumping around the room and saw a bowl of Ramen Noodles all over the floor. To make a long story short, Anthony will no longer be left unsupervised in the kitchen. The pictures can tell the rest of the story.

Anthony has worked very hard to keep his feet off of the Internet because the talent scouts would hound him to begin a career in foot modeling, but I guess his foot modeling career was over before it began.
